8-Week Throwing Course (Beginners & Improvers)
Thursdays, 6:00–8:30pm | 15th January – 5th March 2026
Location: Common Clay Studio, Bexhill

Whether you’re completely new to the pottery wheel or looking to refine your throwing skills, this 8-week course is a great way to build confidence and improve your technique in a warm and welcoming environment.
Each session will focus on different aspects of wheel throwing — from centring clay and pulling up walls to shaping, trimming, and finishing your pots. As the course progresses, you’ll also be introduced to glazing techniques, and by the end of the 8 weeks, you’ll have a collection of your own ceramic pieces, fired and finished, ready to take home.

Our small class sizes ensure you’ll get plenty of individual guidance, with time to explore and develop your personal style. The course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as those who have some experience and would like to improve their skills and try new forms.

- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the class are eligible for a full refund or credit.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class are non-refundable.
- Missed classes are not refundable or transferable.
